With over 35+ years of experience in the electrical trade, Mark Alan Sample has dedicated his career to solving problems, training apprentices, and helping others grow. Through Finn Firefly: The Electrical Guy, he combines real life electrical experience with meaningful storytelling to inspire children to work hard, think critically, and develop strong values.

Mark believes every child can learn important lessons through adventure. His stories introduce young readers to responsibility, perseverance, honesty, teamwork, and the rewarding world of skilled trades.

When he’s not writing, Mark enjoys gardening, hiking, cross country skiing, and spending time with his wife, Tami. Together they share a passion for encouraging young people through faith, practical wisdom, and lifelong learning.
