Our Story & Values
"This is so exciting! I love that this is something I think young boys would really enjoy because it is honestly hard to find good books for boys. Each page is telling a scene of growth from Finn which is awesome! What I am getting from it is a story of purpose. To expose children to what it is like to be and the experience electricians have. In the book, the scene is painted, then the process of Finn is being developed and then finishes with the growth of Finn."
"Finn Firefly the Electrical Guy is a delightful book that teaches the reader many lessons about becoming a well rounded professional. As a teacher, this is a great book to read aloud and have students respond during an SEL lesson in a wide range of grade levels. If you pay attention you will catch the clever writing from the author that provides a bit of humor"
"I like how each story has a moral, and I really like the tangible electricity/electrician things you can learn while reading it. For example, I learned from story 2 not to cut all of the wires at once!!! What a great seed of knowledge to plant into the minds of young readers! (And their parents! Haha). Your book will be unique on the shelf because it is stories told in your voice/writing style + specifics on being an electrician. Your storytelling gives kids the inspiration to look into the trade, but from my perspective, any electricity lessons/specifics you teach will also give them a good groundwork/intro to electricity that will give them the confidence to inquire more about it! They'll feel smart knowing things that an electrician knows!
It is very exciting, and there is much to glean from these stories. I look forward to seeing the finished product and reading it with the kids. It is a unique children's book that not only educates but is also fun, providing a great foundation for parents and teachers to build upon for both learning and life conversations.
